The developer has to submit a Final Site Plan for review, some minor changes needed to be done. Also the City Engineering Dept is looking into whether the grade on Summit is currently too steep, which if it is the developer would be required to fix. The project will most likely be approved within the next week or two.
The developer will also be responsible for adding a sidewalk along the entire north side of Summit Dr. and repaving Summit Dr. The repaving will most likely be done in cement with a brick stamped pattern. The Parks and Rec. Dept will block off the road at the bend, where Summit Dr. turns onto Crane Park Extension. The Crane Park Extension is actually Park property. Initially the road will only be blocked off with some large boulders, but a more permanent structure could follow. The Parks and Rec. Dept hopes to be able to create a master plan for the Park sometime in 2008.
Construction on the development should start in 2008. Visit  http://www.brdevelopmentgroup.com/cityplace.html for more details.
